Bodie is very sweet, gentle and an all-around great cat. He was pulled from death row at a rural shelter and tested positive for FIV when he came to Calvin's Paws. He lives amongst other fosters and should live a perfectly normal and long life. Bodie lights up a room, hence his name from the lighthouse. He is a talker at times and enjoys being pet and shown affection. He is pretty quiet otherwise and spends most of his day on a high perch, watching the antics of the foster kittens. Capri likes to play with toys and have toys thrown for her. She's an excellent mouse catcher if you have an old house with little crevices where creatures sometimes creep in. Capri is a sit on the sofa nearby, sleep next to your feet kind of cat. She likes attention and grooming. She can be shy until she gets to know you, but has done well with children. Dasha: I am a very sweet and loving girl. I was taken to the shelter while I was pregnant, and have raised four wonderful kittens, two of my own and two orphans that I adopted. Sir Pumpkin: I am a super sweet boy who has never met a stranger! I love people and am happy to cuddle all the time. I had a rough start to life - when I was rescued I was covered in ticks, and at some point I was shot with a BB gun, but I'm all healed up and still love everyone! At some point before I was rescued, I was in a few fights, and I contracted FIV, but everyone here says it's not a big deal - FIV cats live normal lives and FIV is extremely hard to spread, so I can live with other negative cats just fine.
